Privacy
What we collect
Standard server logs: the page requested, the time, a truncated IP address, and the browser’s user agent. They exist to keep the site running and to spot abuse. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no newsletter.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies. You can opt out for every site at once with Google’s browser opt-out add-on, and browser tracking protection blocks it too. Nothing here depends on analytics working.
What we store in your browser
One thing: the filters you set on the listing, kept in sessionStorage so that opening a scooter and pressing back returns you to the list you were looking at rather than the top of the catalog. It never leaves your browser, it is not linked to you, and it is discarded when you close the tab.
No advertising and no affiliate links
There is no advertising on this site, no affiliate programme, and no retailer links of any kind. Nothing here tracks you across other sites, and nobody pays for placement. How we compare explains the method in full.
Third-party links
A few pages link out to manufacturers and to the testing organisations whose figures we cite. Those sites have their own privacy practices and we have no control over them.
Children
This site is about vehicles sold to adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
