Most watt-hours per dollar

Battery is the most expensive thing in a scooter and the thing that decides how far it goes, so watt-hours per dollar is the closest this category has to a value metric. It is not the whole story — the scooters at the top of this list tend to be heavy, and several have a drum brake and no app — but it tells you where the money went.
